Neeko Tours was founded in 1998 by Gasper Mbise, who still runs the company from Arusha and still reads every enquiry himself. We are a licensed Tanzanian tour operator specialising in private safaris across the Northern, Southern and Western circuits, Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru climbs, and beach holidays on Zanzibar, Pemba and Mafia Island.
How we work
Every trip is private. You travel with your own guide in your own Land Cruiser, and the itinerary bends around what you want to see. Our mountain crews are led by guides who have summited hundreds of times, and we follow Kilimanjaro Porters Assistance Project guidelines on porter pay, loads and kit.
Giving back
Part of every booking supports Ikirwa School on the slopes of Mount Meru. Many guests choose to visit, and some come back to volunteer. Ask us about our Climb for Charity programme if you would like your summit to raise money for the school.
